Do you love cinnamon? Are you ready to bake cinnamon sticks in the matcha rolls version? We present a recipe for cinnamon sticks in a completely new version!
Ingredients:
Cake:
•450 g of wheat flour type 550 or 650
•5 g of instant dried yeast
•80 g of powdered sugar
•egg
•3 bamboo spoons of matcha.bros
•70 g melted butter
•200 ml of lukewarm milk
Filling:
•150 g of soft butter
•50 g of powdered sugar
•2 bamboo spoons matcha.bros
Top:
•300 g of cream cheese
•50 g of powdered sugar
•2 bamboo spoons of matcha.bros
•a handful of pistachios
Preparation:
1. Pour flour into a bowl, add yeast, powdered sugar, matcha and egg.
2. Heat the milk in a pot and melt the butter. Gradually pour them into the dry ingredients and knead the dough by hand or with a mixer for about 5 minutes.
3. Cream the soft butter with powdered sugar and matcha.
4. Leave the elastic dough ball in the bowl, covered, for an hour.
5. After this time, place the dough on a floured countertop. Roll out into a rectangle (23x32 cm). Spread the top with matcha butter and leave "frames".
6. Roll the dough from the long side into a roulade. We divide it into 9 parts. Place the buns tightly next to each other on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Cover for 30 minutes.
7. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees. Bake the matcha rolls for about 17 minutes until they are lightly browned. Let cool on a kitchen rack.
8. Mix the cream cheese with powdered cider and matcha. Spread the cream on the cooled rolls and decorate with chopped pistachios.
A cup of matcha latte will be the perfect complement to this recipe :)
